Welcome to the UW-Stout STC Chapter website! 

Our chapter serves the needs of students enrolled in the Technical Communication major and minor.  Throughout the year, we sponsor events that promote us both as a community of undergraduates and as professionals about to begin careers.  Please tour our site to discover what we have to offer.  As technical communicators, we know that our main goal is to make complex material accessible; getting a degree and beginning in the profession is complex, but we hope our site makes our community and profession more accessible for you.

A note from the Chapter Advisor:

In the last several years we have hosted conferences, presented professional speakers, had game nights, and pizza dinners.  Many of our STC members have won awards including the STC Distinguished Student Service Award and membership in Sigma Tau Chi. The students are creative, energetic, and very professional.  I am honored to work with this chapter.
